abstract Cationic aluminium phthalocyanine compounds conforming to the formula I <IMAGE> wherein the individual symbols are each as defined in Claim 1, and their salts and mixtures thereof. The compounds and their formulations find use for dyeing or printing hydroxyl- or nitrogen-containing organic substrates in a conventional manner. Preferred substrates are textile materials consisting of or containing cellulose, in particular cotton, but also bast fibres, leather and preferably paper or paper products, in particular wood-containing paper. The paper dyeings show perfect wetfastness properties.
