A method for networking private branch exchanges via bit-transparent connections in the ISDN after the first dialling of the called private branch exchange and device for the multiple utilisation of ISDN dial-up connections (M(X)) for carrying out the method. Using these devices (M(X)), private branch exchanges, and those with an analog exchange interface, can be connected to the ISDN and, at the same time, computers (C) can also be connected via an ISDN interface, in which arrangement further (PC) can also be connected to these.
