Sensor element in the form of a galvanic cell consists of an anode made of an Ag moulding, and a cathode made of a gas permeable Pt network with an solid electrolyte element, made of an Ag salt moulding consisting of AgI, Ag2WO4, Ag6I4MoO4, Ag7I4VO4 and Ag7I4PO4, between the two.
