Process for the production of cellulose fibers |
abstract |
A process is proposed for producing cellulose fibres spun from solvents and with a reduced tendency to fibrillate. The process in question involves treating the fibres with one or more compounds selected from the following groups: (A) N-methylol ethers of carboxylic acid amides, urethanes, ureas and aminotriazines; (B) cyclical hydroxyl or alkoxyethylene ureas which have been N-substituted by one or more alkyl groups; (C) hydrophilically modified polyisocyanates; and (D) mixtures of polyurethanes and isocyanates. |
