titleOfInvention Colored borosilicate glass and its use
abstract Coloured borosilicate glass, the NIR transmission of which can be graded, has the synthesis compsn. (oxide basis) over 78 wt.% SiO2, over 8 wt.% B2O2, 1.5-4 wt.% Al2O3 and over 2 wt.% alkali oxide. The novelty is that the glass synthesis compsn. contains 0.1-3.0 wt.% TiO2 and a reducing agent.
