Process for the preparation of amine-modified epoxy (meth) acrylates |
abstract |
Method for the prepn. of amino-modified epoxy(meth)acrylates by reacting organic cpds. contg. epoxy gps. with (a) 0.8-0.99 carboxyl equivs. (meth)acrylic acid per epoxy equiv.; and (b) 0.01-0.2 NH equivs. basic nitrogen cpds. chosen from ammonia or (cyclo)aliphatic prim. or sec. amines, or their mixts., per epoxy equiv., with the initial no. of epoxy gps. being practically fully reacted. At least 0.01 NH equivs. of base in step (b) are reacted with the epoxy gps. remaining after step (a). |
