abstract |
The film incorporates a Cu-Ni matrix with precipitates of a Co component, the Ni portion amounting to more than 10 atom-%, and further components. Such a structure is manufactured advantageously by formation of a Cu-Ni alloy with an intermediate product of Co-Ni supersaturated mixed crystals from an accelerated solidification process.The desired granular structure is achieved by heat treatment. A preferable composition is Cu1-x-yCoxNiy where x is between 0.05 and 0.5, and y between 0.15 and 0.5. |
