The invention concerns a DNA expression vector which is characterized in that it comprises a DNA sequence which codes for a protein having the biological activity of nitrogen monoxide synthase (NOS). The DNA expression vector also comprises eukaryotic regulation elements which bring about the expression of said DNA sequence in eukaryotic cells. The invention further concerns the use of the expression vector for treating or preventing vascular diseases. |
