titleOfInvention Method for operating a heating system
abstract The gas- or oil-fired boiler is used for both space- and water-heating circuits. It is regulated by a control unit, according to the weather and other predetermined parameters. Each circuit can operate independently with its own pump. When the boiler is heating up for water heating, the pumps for both space and water heating can operate in parallel. When the boiler water temperature exceeds the maximum temperature allowed for the space heating circuit, the space heating pump is switched off. This optimises the operating times of each circuit whilst avoiding unduly high space heater body temperatures.
