abstract | Process and assembly analyse used machine-tool lubricating-coolant fluid. The novelty is that the coolants are first sepd. into batches of given density and that the lighter substances are then removed and the proportion of these impurities is determn. with respect to the overall vol. of lubricant coolant. Coarse particles are then removed by filtration and the resulting filtrate is then subjected to a range of analytical tests. An assembly incorporates a sepn. funnel (27) with a tap (28) controlled outlet over a further funnel (27) with filter paper (34), which discharges to a collection tub. |
