The invention relates to a process for the purification of polyether alcohols prepared by the alkali-catalysed addition reaction of alkylene oxides onto H-functional initiator substances from the alkaline catalyst by neutralisation followed by removal of the resultant salts, where the neutralisation is carried out by means of carbon dioxide, characterised in that the polyether alcohol is charged with carbon dioxide to saturation, and the removal of the resultant salts is carried out one or more times. |
