abstract |
In the case of the measuring cell used for spectroscopic analysis of the process mixture, a light beam is reflected back and forth at the interface between the optically denser medium of a ATR crystal 6 or of an optical waveguide (optical conductor) 23 and the optically thinner medium of the adjacent, viscous process mixture, this interface forming the measurement surface. In order to clean product residues from the measurement surface, an ultrasound source 22 is arranged in its vicinity. It is advantageous to silver (aluminize) the side of the ATR crystal 6 averted from the process mixture or to place the ATR crystal 6 with this side on a reflecting surface of a pressure plate 7 which fixes the ATR crystal. <IMAGE> |
