titleOfInvention Immobilized proteinase K
abstract The invention relates to immobilised proteinase K on basic carriers which contain hydroxyl groups and to whose surfaces polymers are covalently bonded, characterised in that a) the basic carrier contains aliphatic hydroxyl groups, b) the covalently bonded linear polymers are bonded to the carrier via a terminal monomer unit, c) the polymers contain monomer units of the formula II <IMAGE> in which R<1>, R<2> and R<3> are, independently of one another, H or CH3, R<4> is H, alkyl with 1-5 C atoms or aryl with 6-12 C atoms, n is an integer between 1 and 5 and one radical X is OH and the other radical X is proteinase K. The invention furthermore relates to the use of the immobilised proteinase K, to its preparation and use for inactivating enzymes, especially restriction endonucleases.
