Process for the purification of waste water and / or groundwater |
abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the environmentally compatible purification of waste water and/or ground water polluted in particular with organic pollutants. The pollutants are wholly or partially transferred into an oxygen-containing gas by stripping the polluted water with the gas or are removed from the gas by a biofilter. The water thus treated can, in a case-specific manner, be conducted away directly as purified water or be fed to a biological waste water treatment. The stripping is preferably carried out as gas/water ratios of 10 to 250 m<3> (S.T.P.) of stripping gas per m<3> of water and at temperatures of 283 to 323 K. |
