The invention relates to a process for cleaning up waste waters containing uranium compounds, arsenic compounds and radium compounds, in particular mining waters, in which the uranium compound is separated off using a primary flocculation agent which is prepared by aminolysis of polyacrylonitrile with hydroxylamine, the following process steps being carried out sequentially: a) adjusting the pH of the waste water to < 6.2, b) precipitating out the radium compound with a 0.5 to 15 % strength barium chloride solution, c) precipitating out the uranium compound with 0.5 to 2 % strength solution of the primary flocculating agent, d) precipitating out the arsenic compound with a 0.5 to 45 % strength FeCl3 solution, e) separating off the precipitate. w |
