titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of nitrogen five-membered heterocycles |
abstract | Nitrogen five-membered ring heterocycles of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5>, R<6>, R<7> and R<8> are hydrogen or R<1> is C1- to C10-alkyl, C1- to C10-hydroxyalkyl, C1- to C10-aminoalkyl, aryl, C7- to C10-aralkyl or C7- to C10-alkylaryl, R<5> and R<6> are C1- to C8-alkyl, R<2> and R<3> together are oxygen, with the proviso that R<8> is hydrogen, R<3> and R<4> and/or R<7> and R<8> or R<6> and R<7> together are a bond, are prepared by reacting vinyloxiranes of the formula II <IMAGE> in which R<5> and R<6> have the abovementioned meanings, with ammonia or primary amines of the formula III R<1> - NH2 in which R<1> has the abovementioned meanings, in the presence of a compound of an element of sub-group VIII or of sub-group I of the Periodic Table of the Elements, optionally with addition of a Lewis acid, at temperatures from 20 to 200 DEG C and pressures from 1 to 70 bar, and then cyclising in the presence of hydrogen and of a hydrogenation catalyst at temperatures from 150 to 350 DEG C and pressures from 0.1 to 300 bar. |
