titleOfInvention Method and device for desludging shallow water
abstract The invention relates to a process for desludging and sanitation and rehabilitation of flat bodies of water using a combined apparatus for sludge removal, the buffer vessels having a preseparator, the separation of water and solids (digested sludge and other solid constituents), the treatment of the end products up to supply to the end consumer and the post-treatment of water up to the attainment of drinking water quality and subsequent aeration. In this process, the contaminated water mixture, in the course of complete passage through a unit system, is divided in stages into solid constituents and water in accordance with the quality required. The overall unit system is composed of individual elements and may be constructed manually on site. The overall solution is constructed in an energy saving manner and may be extended by flocculation units for all pollutants (e.g. phosphorus, nitrogen) and palletising units for the solids. It is suitable for the treatment of agricultural waste products, e.g. liquid manure and for treating kitchen wastes for preparing feed for animal husbandry. This rehabilitation process, without vortexing the existing water layers which have built up, permits the object posed to be fulfilled without mixing the water layers. The advantage is that the natural relief and the bank region are retained without damage.
