titleOfInvention Method and device for recycling solid polyester material
abstract In a process for processing polyester waste (scrap) in a continuous or batch system comprising a reactor or upstream container for preparing the recycle component and a melt reactor system, the recycle component is first sintered at temperatures from 140 DEG C to 210 DEG C in a stream of gas and subsequently, with a sintered structure, after heating to a maximum of 230 DEG C, mixed with a polyester primary component and kept in the reactive state for a defined time. An apparatus for carrying out the process comprises a container (3) for the formation of a recycle material column having an inlet end, an outlet end, stirring means and loosening means, and at least one feed (4, 5) for passing in a gas heated to a temperature of from 150 DEG C to 250 DEG C. The inlet end of the container (3) has supply and metering devices (1, 2) for supplying the recycle components, while its outlet end is controllably connected to an inlet of a melt reactor (10), which has a second inlet (11) for metered supply of the primary component. <IMAGE>
