The moulding materials (I) comprise (A) 97.0-99.85 pts. wt. polyalkylene terephthalate, (B) 0.05-1.0 pt. wt. ultramarine blue, (C) 0.05-1.0 pt. wt. carbon black or graphite and (D) 0.05-1.0 pt. wt. TiO2; 1-60 wt% polyester (A) can be replaced by aromatic polycarbonate and opt. rubber-elastic polymer with Tg below -10 deg.C. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for the prodn. of moulded prods. which can be printed with radiation in the near UV, visible or IR range, to produce white letters on a black or dark background (claimed). Also claimed are (a) a process for printing white letters on moulded prods. of (I) as above, and (b) laser-printed mouldings made of (I). |
