abstract Corrosion protection agent is based on Ca(OH)2 or caustic lime, thermoplast elastomers, hard bitumen, bitumen emulsion and wetting agent. The novelty is that a dry-free coating system is defined by the ratio of the thermoplast elastomer, bitumen emulsion, hard bitumen, wetting agent, caustic lime, lipophilic defoamer. The agent comprises: (a) 14.5 (wt.pts.) caustic lime or Ca(OH)2; (b) 1.8 thermoplast elastomer; (c) 2.6 bitumen 125/0; (d) 31.9 bitumen emulsion; (e) 0.6 lipophilic defoamer; and (f) 48.6 water; or (a) 14.1 1(a); (b( 3.3 2(a); (c) 4.1 bitumen HVB 130/140; (d) 38.0 1(d); (e) 0.7 1(e); and (f) 39.8 1(f); or (a) 17.2 1(a); (b) 1.9 1(b); (c) 2.8 1(c); (d) 30.3 bitumen emulsion 1 (softening pt less than 50 deg.C (e) 20.7 bitumen emulsion 2 (softening pt. greater than 50 deg.C); (f) 0.8 wetting agent; (g) 0.1 1(e); (h) 26.2 1(f); or (4) (a) 18.5 1(a); (b) 4.4 1(b); (c) 22.5 3(d); (d) 31.4 3(e); (e) 1.1 3(f); (f) 0.4 1(e); (g) 21.7 1(f). Coating of the corrosion protection agent is done at RT up to the autoclavisation temp. The bitumen emulsion contg distn. bitumen with softening pt less than 50 deg.C has carbochemical wax added to it. USE/ADVANTAGE - The agent is used for steel-reinforcement in autoclaved silicate and heat-treated concrete. The agent is composed of only a small number of starting materials. In an example, 14.5 (wt.pts.) caustic lime or Ca(OH)2 were mixed with 48.6 water and dispersed using 1.8 thermoplast elastomer. The dispersed material was added to 2.6 emulsified bitumen 125/0 (previously processed using water, wetting agent and 0.6 lipophilic defoamer) The corrosion protection agent was homogenised within 20 mins.
