abstract | An electrostatic discharge shield (34) for electronic components (36) is moulded from a composition including about 4 to about 12 weight percent metal fillings consisting of nickel-coated graphite and a resin prepared from a material selected from a group consisting of polyesters, polycarbonates, polyphenylene oxides and ABS. The moulding may be carried out by heating the composition and injecting into a cavity or by injecting a resin composition including the metal fillings to provide an intertwined mat.
