abstract | Substituted isoindolones have formula (I), in which R<1>, R<2> stand for H, possibly substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cyano, C1-C6-alkoxycarbonyl, formyl, C1-C6-alkylcarbonyl, possibly substituted phenylcarbonyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, or, provided that R<1> stands for H, and R<2> stands in addition for possibly substituted phenyl, or R<1> and R<2> form together with the C atom, to which they are bound, a possibly substituted 3 to 8 membered carbocycle or heterocycle; R<3> is H, C1-C6-alkyl; R<4> is H, halogen; R<5> is H, halogen, NO2, CN, CF3; R<6> is a possibly substituted 3 to 8-membered heterocyclic group, -A-CN, -A-CO-B, -C(R<10>)=O, -C(R<10>)=S, -C(R<10>)=N-R<11>, -C(X<1>R<14>)(X<2>R<15>)R<10>, -P(R<12>)(R<13>)=O; A is a possibly substituted C1-C4-alkylene, C2-C4-alkenyle or C2-C4-alkinylene chain; B is H, possibly substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, an ether/thioether group, possibly substituted phenyl or amino; R<10> is H, CN, possibly substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C1-C6-alkoxycarbonyl; R<11> is H, possibly substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, C3-C7-cycloalkyl, possibly substituted phenyl, hydroxy, possibly substituted alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkinyloxy, cocloalkoxy, cycloalkenyloxy, C1-C6-alkylcarbonyloxy or amino; R<12>, R<13> are C1-C6-alkoxy or possibly substituted phenyl; X<1>, X<2> are O, S; R<14>, R<15> are C1-C6-alkyl, C3-C6-alkenyl, C3-C6-alkinyl, C1-C6-alkoxy-C1-C6-alkyl or form together a two to four-membered, possibly substituted carbon chain, or R<5>+R<6> are a 3 to 5-membered, possibly substituted carbon chain.
