| abstract |
The flexible conductor plate (3) is located on the plastics part (1). In order to obtain a surer seat, the plate is provided with a hole with a lined copper ring (entry protection) and pressed over a tower formation (4). As contact elements, snap discs (9) or encapsulated short stroke keys (5) are possible. For operation, the "elastic skin" of plastics, e.g. polyurethane, (7) is used with fitted symbol disc (8) under which is a chip LED (8). Furthermore contact operating components are plastic buttons, caps or rings. A single key may be fitted on the housing which is screwed to the plastics part of the steering wheel. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easily accessible button for use by driver of motor vehicle. |
