abstract |
The housing unit for electronic parts (4) contains a housing with a cylindrical wall for mounting at least one electronic part and a cover for sealing the housing. A protrusion is formed on the housing which protrudes beyond the cylindrical wall. A heating iron (9) is applied to the protrusion (7) at a defined temp. so that the housing (8) and cover (5) are welded together. Alternatively, the protrusion can be formed on the cover. USE/ADVANTAGE - The housing unit for electronic parts, e.g. for Hall effect sensors, is designed to eliminate the difficulties associated with making conventional housing units, e.g. the application of high frequency magnetic fields to components such as Hall elements during high frequency welding. |
