abstract | An impregnated support (a) comprises absorbent material, 0.01-2mm thick and 1-1000 square cm in size, impregnated with a compsn. for hair treatment, (b) contains no oxidising agent and no mercaptans or thio cpds., and (c) is sealed into sachets, e.g. sealed and/or plastic bags. The support is of absorbent paper and/or a fleece and/or a textile, of natural and/or synthetic material, and esp. has thickness 0.02-1.2mm, flat wt. 10-40 g/square m, wet tensile strength at least 5N, and dry tensile strength at least 15 N. The impregnant is a pourable compsn. of low and/or high viscosity, and may be free from water. The wt. of the impregnant is 1-10 x the wt. of the support. USE/ADVANTAGE - The material is used in caring for the hair or improving the structure of the hair. The sachets can be carried in the pocket. In use, contact with the scalp, face or eyes is avoided. |
