| abstract | An image original or printed article exposed pref. full surface to a standard light source, is measured pref. by colour filtering, spectrally subdivided and patternwise colour metrically by determining the colour face, at least of a pref. standard colour coordinate system. The printed colour parts are computed for subtractive and/or additive colour mixture, in certain cases taking in to account comparison measurements. The print form prodn. or correction and/or the following adjusting in zones of the colour application control/regulation is carried out in pixel resolution. The image scanning system (3) has a pref. point type monitoring semiconductor reception matrix (24) with known and selected spectral intensity responsitivity arranged in an image plane. Also an optical lens system (23) arranged between an object and an image plane (11, 31). An image original carrier (12) is arranged in the object plane (11) and the signals given by the matrix (24) are processed by a computer (4) and supplied to the printing image prodn. matrix of the printing form. ADVANTAGE - Image original or print original eg printed article to be controlled is determined full face in simple manner and in short time. Associated printing form for offset printing process can be produced or corrected. |
