Process for the continuous production of transdermal therapeutic plasters having a backing, an adhesive active agent storage layer and a removable protective layer, whereby the loss of material during manufacture is minimised, in which, in a strip laminate with an adhesive backing (1) and the removable protective layer (3) individual, rectangular adhesive active material storage sections (2) are laid longitudinally one behind the other between the layers (2, 3), said sections having equal empty spaces between them longitudinally and being of such a width that the backing (1) and the removable protective layer (3) project beyond them on both sides of the backing (1) and the protective layer (3), and firstly the adhesive backing (1) is separated by stamping so that the stamped line (1a) runs around the individual active agent storage sections (2) at a clear distance from their outer borders, the grid/like sectioning thus formed in the adhesive backing (1) with no active agent is removed and then the protective layer (3) is separated in the interstices formed between the active agent storage sections (2). |
