On the external part of the transmission (9) is connected at least one pump (1) of a pressure oil feed unit (DFA), which is part of a hydrostatic drive device for auxiliary equipment (NA) and possibly a work hydraulic unit. Also connected is an electro-machine and/or an energy storage flywheel (ESR). On the input shaft of the gearbox (2) is located a pinion (9) for transmission of the highest engageable gear stage, which via a synchronous claw coupling (10) can be brought in or out of engagement with an output shaft (11) which is aligned axially with the input shaft of the gearbox. Pinions (12-17) which are freely rotatable on the output shaft are available for transmission of the other gear stages including reverse, and via synchronous claw couplings (10,18,19,20) can be brought in and out of work engagement with the output shaft (11). An electro-machine (4) connected to a battery is operable as a motor or generator, and forms with the internal combustion engine (1) a hybrid drive unit. ADVANTAGE - Road vehicle has braking energy recovery and storage in flywheel, a hybrid drive unit arrangement involving i/c engine and electro-motor, and simply connected auxiliary units, such as work hydraulic unit, compressed air unit with compressor, and generator for charging battery. |
