The snap closure coupling for hydraulic brake systems, especially for trailers, cosists of two interlocking halves - a plug (1) and a sleeve (2) valve locked by a locking-ball fastening (7). Each coupling half (1, 2) has a slide-sleeve (13). The sleeve-valve (2) and a coupling-sleeve (4) containing the plug valve (1) each has a slide-sleeve (5) enclosing the locking-ball fastening (7) in an inner, annular shunt groove (8). Between the coupling-sleeve (4) and the slide sleeve (13) closing axial through-holes (12a) in the guide-pipe (12), the sleeve valve (2) has a locking-sleeve (17) for a safety ball fastening (24). ADVANTAGE - The slide sleeve can be pushed over the sleeve valve's coupling-sleeve only when the pressure in the hydraulic braking system drops below the upper safety limit. |
