titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR IMPROVING PLANT GROWTH
abstract Improving plant growth in a hydroculutre with a water insol. artificial resin ion exchanger as the long term fertiliser and separate Ca-addn. in a nutrient soln. comprises adding carbonic acid dolomite chalk (CaCO3 MgCO3) to the nutrient soln. USE/ADVANTAGE - The long-term nutrition of the plants with Ca and Mg is ensured. The relatively poor solubility of the dolomote ensures the release of the nutrients into the aq. soln. over a relatively long time period of several weeks. The solubility of the carbonates is strongly dependent on the free CO2 content of the water.
