Also new are (1) vectors which express (II), (2) (II) and (IIb) themselves, (3) DNA moecules (III) consisting of (in sequence) a binding site for RNA polymerase, the 5'-nontranslated region of a structural gene and a gene fragment (in positive or negative orientation) coding for a protease cleavage site, (4) vectors (III) (5) host organisms transformed with vectors (2) and (4).
