abstract |
Catalytic oxidn. of organic components in waste water is at below 80 deg.C with H2O2, in presence of Fe(III) salts and TiO2. Oxidn. is at 20-75 (45-60) deg.C using 0.1 x 10 power-3- 1 mols/ 1 (0.1 x 10 power-2 - 0.1-10 power-1 mols/l.) of Fe2(SO4)3, not more than 0.5 mols/l. (0.3 mols/l.) of H2O2 pref. added stepwise in amts. of 0.1 mol/l. and not above 10 g/l. of TiO2 and opt. in presence of light. Light and TiO2 or Fe(III) salts and TiO2 may be parts of a kit. |
