titleOfInvention | THIOPHOSPHORSAEURE DIHALOGENETHYLESTER |
abstract | Thiophosphoric acid dihaloethyl ester derivs. of formula (I) are new. Q = O or S; R1 and R2 = each 1-8C alkyl; X = halogen. USE/ADVANTAGE - Strong, effective against e.g. beetle larvae, catterpillars of butterflies and leaf lice. Also used as acaricides. Also be used on materials as they have residual effect on wood and clay and good alkali stability on limed bases. In tests some cpds. (I) have a mortality rate of 100% when used at 10 ppm against Phadeon cocholeoriae and 100% when used at 2.5 ppm against Myzus persicae using a root systemic action with cabbage plants (Brassica oleracea). Previously known thiophosphoric acid trihaloethyl ester derivs had no effect against pests at these concns. |
