abstract | Two-component adhesives (I) are claimed, which are obtd. by reaction of (a) opt. modified polyisocyanate(s) with (b) poly-azomethine(s) in the presence of (c) auxiliary substances and/or additives; (b) are reaction prods. of polyoxyalkylene-polaymines with functionality 2-4 and mol.wt. 180-10,000 (II) and aldehyde(s) and/or ketone(s) (III). Pref. (b) are polyketimines (IV) obtd. by reaction of (II) (with mol.wt. 220-5500) with (cyclo)aliphatic ketones, pref. mixts. of (II) and (IV) contg. not above 20% prim. amino gps. from (II) and at least 80% ketimine gps. from (IV) as above; (II) are polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene-polyamines or polyoxypropylene-polyamines; (b) are used in the form of a mixt. with at least difunctional poly-hydroxy cpds. (V), in which at least 40% of the NCO-reactive gps. are aldimine and/or ketimine gps.; (V) are high-mol. wt. polyoxyalkylene-polyols, high-mol. wt. polyester-polyols or mixts. thereof with low-mol.wt. chain extenders and/or crosslinkers; NCO-reactive gps. are prim. amino and/or OH and aldimine and/or ketimine gps. (at least 40%); (a) contain (i) carbodi-imide and/or urethane gp.-contg. polyisocyanates contg. 33.6-8 wt.% NCO based on 4,4'-MDI or a mixt. thereof with 2,4'-MDI, and/or (ii) an NCO gp.-contg. prepolymer contg. 8-25 wt.% NCO obtd. by reaction of polyoxyalkylene-polyols with functionality 2-4 and mol.wt. 600-6000 with MDI as above; amts. of (a) and (b) are such that the ratio of NCO gps. in (a) to aldimine and/or ketimine gps. or to the sum of NCO-reactive gps. in (b) is (0.8:1)-(1.2:1). |
