abstract A powdery cleaning compsn. consisting of adsorptive (in)organic powder mixts., water and antistatics contains 0.1-10 wt.% of urea, solid urea derivs. and/or cyclic carboxamides and 20-90% of water not chemically combined. The urea deriv. is acetylurea, biuret or acetyl-biuret, and the amide is epsilon-caprolactam. USE/ADVANTAGE - The compsn. has better stain-removing properties, e.g. for removing denatured proteins, blood, old oils and fats, starch and cellulose. It is free from organic solvents and surfactants. The compsn. is used on carpets and other textile floorings.
