abstract |
A single object (12) is placed between crossed or parallel lines of a polarisation device, pref. a polarisation microscope. An image of an interference strip system (15) produced by a polarisation optical component between a polariser and an object plane is formed in the object plane (5). With an anisotropic object in the diagonal position, the interference strip system displacement corresp. the object's path difference is only nulled when the diagonal position coincides with the subtraction position of the object and a tilt compensator. USE/ADVANTAGE - For rational indication of the subtraction position of statistically distributed, closely packed anisotropic objects with path difference of up to one wavelength. |
