abstract |
The present invention concerns wire lacquers containing: A) polyester resins or polyester imide resins or hydroxyl group-containing polyesters together with an isocyanate component, the free isocyanate groups of which are fully blocked; and B) alkylene carbonates of the formula (I) where R is either hydrogen or an aliphatic or a cycloaliphatic or an aromatic or an alkylaromatic residue. The feature of the wire lacquers is that they contain as a further solvent (C) aromatic and/or aliphatic hydrocarbons, excepting cresolic and phenolic solvents. The object of the present invention also includes processes for the continuous coating of wires using these wire lacquers. |
