| abstract | A process is for the winding of the button stalk of a button sewn on a garment with sewing thread. A thread consisting of an elastomeric plastic is wound on the thread bundle formed by the sewing thread between the button and the garment and the thread end is then fastened. The winding thread is drawn from the button stalk after the winding process in a vertical direction to the stalk axis applying a traction force which exceeds the drawing force of the yarn. ADVANTAGE-The winding thread end is reliably fastened and opening of the coil is prevented. |
