abstract The invention relates to combination products which, besides rifampicin, sulphamethoxazole and trimethoprim, additionally contain isoniazide or prothionamide. The products have proved to be effective for the treatment of mycobacterial diseases and, furthermore, for the therapy also of non-mycobacterial opportunistic infections in Aids. They furthermore display unexpected advantages in the treatment of leprosy and are additionally suitable for the therapy of malaria and for controlling nosocomial infections.
