| abstract |
A description is given of a process for producing a padded article (46) having a core (22) and a plastic skin (50), at least partially covering the core (22). When using an integral material, to be able to dispense with a pollutant blowing agent, such as CFCs, and nevertheless being able to obtain an integral material with its advantageous properties with respect to the accomplishment of any desired surface structurings (texturings) of the padded article (46), first of all the core (22) is produced from a flexible foam material without any blowing agent. Subsequently, for forming the plastic skin (50), the core (22) is at least partially covered with an integral material (44) containing no blowing gas. <IMAGE> |
