abstract |
In order to produce a rotor with high dimensional accuracy in a stress-free manner, a negative mould (20) is produced from a master rotor by casting. The rotor shaft (23) is placed in the negative mould (20). It is held at only one end by means of a tapered shaft stub (24). The mould cavity (22) of the negative mould (20) is sprayed with a parting agent. The rotor body is produced from the same polymer material from which the negative mould (20) is produced but possibly with a different proportion of filler.
