A method of altering a L-threonine producing microorganism comprising the steps of: Treating E. coli VNIIGENETIKA M-1 with a bacteriophage P1 cultured on a sucrose-assimilating strain to obtain a transductant capable of assimilating sucrose; and Culturing the transductants-derived mutants capable of growing in a medium having a concentration of L-threonine of 5 mg / ml to give mutants that are stable to L-threonine. |
