Cpd. of formula R(m-n)Q((-CH2-CR'R2O)a -CONH(X1-NHCOO)b -X2(-OOC-CR3=CH2)c)n (I) is claimed (where Q = -N=, =N-E-N=, (II) or -S-; R = alkyl, HO-alkyl or aryl; R1, R2 = H, alkyl or alkoxyalkyl; R3 = H, Me or Et; X1 = 2-12C satd. hydrocarbyl; X2 = (C + 1)-valent hydrocarbyl, opt. with up to 5 CH2 replaced by O; D1, D2 = 1-5C satd. hydrocarbyl; E = 2-12C alkylene, 5-7C cycloalkylene (opt. with up to 2 N, O or S ring atoms), 6-12C arylene or 5-6-membered heterocycle; a = O or 1-4; b = 0 or 1; c = 1-3; m = 2, 3 or 4 (depending on valency of Q); n = 1-m). Radiation-polymerisable mixt. (II) comprises a polymeric binder (III), (alk)acrylic ester of multivalent urethane gp.-contg. alcohol (I), and initiator. (I) is produced, e.g.. by reaction of diisocyanate (e.g., hexamethylene diisocyanate) with 1 mol. HEMA, etc. followed by reaction of the excess NCO gps. with hydroxyalkylamine (e.g., triethanolamine) (for Q = N and n = M, for example). (III) is, e.g., polyamide, polyester, PV-alcohol, poly(meth)acrylate, etc. Suitable initiators are benzophenonebenzoin-, benzil, thioxanthone-derivs., etc. Substrate is metal or plastic foil. |
