abstract | Dressing for leather and artificial leather contains solns. of cellulose acetobutyrate (CAB) with a butyryl content of min. 45 (wt.)% w.r.t. CAB. The CAB contains 45-55, esp. 47-53% butyryl. The dressing pref. also contains a polyether-siloxane, in which the polymer gps. pref. are linked with the polysiloxane through an ether bridge or carbamate ester gp., esp. a polyether-siloxane contg. at least 2 gps. of the formula: -Si(Me)(R-O-PE)-O-; where PE = a polyether gp.; R = -CH2-N(R')-CO- or -(SiMe2-O)x-; R' = (cyclo)alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, dialkylamino, aryl or alkaryl with up to 10C; x = 2-25. The dressing may also contain a plasticiser, pref. mixts. of n-butyl stearate with phthalate diesters, and usual additives. |
