abstract Cover made of a detonable metal salt, on an inert moulding, includes forming the metal salt in situ. A prim. reaction component is applied to the moulding and a sec. reaction component is then reacted with it. The prim. reaction component is applied as a thin layer to the moulding surface, and is then converted to the salt by reacting it with the second component. ADVANTAGE - The process enables a covering to be formed which will detonate at a predetermined time.
