abstract |
An increase in quinolinic acid synthesis by microorganisms of the strain E. coli is achieved when the gene sequences, which are used for the modification and which code for L-aspartate oxidase and quinolinate synthetase, are established on different basic vectors which lead to different copy numbers and are compatible with one another and with the cells. The rate of excretion of quinolinic acid is increased when the plasmids which are introduced into the cells and harbour nadA and nadB gene sequences are in equilibrium with one another with copy ratios of 50 : 200, 8 : 50 or 8 : 200. |
