titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A RAW MATERIAL MIXTURE FOR GLASS PRODUCTION
abstract To produce a raw material mixture for glass manufacture, one or more waste products are used which arise in powder form or are converted from a compact form into the powder form. The pulverulent waste products are suspended in water, introduced into a fluidised bed and combined with a nucleating shell, whose grain is larger than that of the waste product powder. The nucleating material can be a material belonging to the type of the waste products and, as such, can be suspended with them, or it can be an extraneous material which is sprinkled in uniform distribution from above into the atomised waste product suspension. If small materials of the same type and of an extraneous type are used in the same agglomeration process, these have the same grain size. Using the waste product powder, at least one further suitable component of the raw material mixture can be suspended and atomised.
