abstract Electrophotographic photoreceptor consists of a titanyl phthalocyanine cpd. (I) with main characteristic X-ray peaks, expressed as 2 theta Bragg angle w.r.t. Cu-K alpha (wavelength at 0.1541 nm) at least 9.4 +/- 0.2 deg., 11.7 +/- 0.2 deg., 11.7 +/- 0.2 deg., 15.0 +/- 0.2 deg., 23.5 +/- 0.2 deg., 24.1 +/- 0.2 deg., and 27.3 +/- 0.2 deg. (I) is of the formula (I). X1-4 independently = Cl or Br; n, m, l and k independently = 0-4. The photoreceptor contains (I) as charge generating substance and, as charge transport substance, an amino-arylethene cpd. (II), esp. a 4-amino-styrene deriv. (IIA) of the formulae (II), (IIA): R1-2 = alkyl or aryl; R3-4 = H, halogen or a (substd.)alkyl, aryl, alkoxy or amino gp.; R5 = a (substd.) aryl or heterocyclyl gp.; Ar1 = (substd.)aryl; R6-9 = H, halogen, OH or a (substd.)alkyl, alkoxy, amino or aryl gp.
