PYRUVATE DEHYDROGENASE AND THEIR USE IN AN ANALYTICAL PROCEDURE |
abstract |
The invention relates to a pyruvate dehydrogenase which has excellent heat resistance and which catalyses reaction I: pyruvic acid + phosphoric acid + electron acceptor <- acetyl phosphate + CO2 + reduced electron acceptor The pyruvate dehydrogenase is stable at a temperature of up to 50@C and at pH 6.3 for 15 minutes. The invention furthermore relates to a method for the preparation of the pyruvate dehydrogenase, to an analytical method in which the pyruvate dehydrogenase is used, and an analytic reagent which contains the pyruvate dehydrogenase. |
