titleOfInvention Method for the non-destructive removal of salts from rocks, and device for implementing the method
abstract The invention relates to a method for non-destructive removal of salts, especially nitrates, from rocks which uses nitrifying bacteria, and to a device for implementing the method. For the said purpose, the rock is brought wholly or partially under conditions of exclusion of oxygen, whereby the nitrifying bacteria convert the nitrate present in the rock into gaseous nitrogen compounds and thus eliminate it.
